Overview:
We do our best to feed as nutritional and balanced a diet as is possible. We feed a quality pellet food along with fresh vegetables, fruits, grains and a quality seed. We feed the seed and grain mix, the pellets, and the fresh foods in separate bowls. Feeding is twice a day with the fresh foods only left in the cage for about an hour.
Fresh fruits & vegetables:
Fresh fruits and vegetables are an important part of our Parrots diet. They don’t eat just pellets and seed in the wild. To get all the vitamins, proteins, antioxidants and minerals they need fresh greens (mustard greens etc.), roots (sweet potato, carrots, radishes, yams etc.), legumes (pinto and navy beans, black-eyed peas, etc.) and vegetables such as celery, peas, corn, squash, peppers, snow peas, green beans, broccoli and cucumbers. Fruits we feed include cranberries, key limes, oranges, melon, apples, papaya, grapes, mango, pomegranates and figs.
Small bird Mix:
We vary what we put in the mix each time like us our birds don’t care to eat the same meal over and over. Fresh foods are diced small so they are easier to eat.
Amazon Mix:
Like with all our birds we vary what we put in the mix each time like us our birds don’t care to eat the same meal over and over. Fresh foods are chopped large enough so they can easily hold them with their feet while the eat.
Minerals and trace elements:
Minerals and trace elements are also very important. We keep both mineral blocks and cuttle bone available to our birds at all times.

Lutino and Dilute split Lutino Fischer Lovebirds
These are my favorite of all the Lovebirds. The Lutino Fischer is a sight to see, and a Pastel split to Lutino almost as nice. If you want a sharp, tropical looking bird these may be for you.
